Lovense Hyphy Review – Interactive dual-end Clit and G-spot vibrator

The Hyphy is a very exciting 2-in-1 sextoy! It features as a pinpoint accurate clit vibrator with 3 attachable silicone heads, while the other end works as an interactive G-Spot vibrator! As with all Lovense toys, you can connect it to your phone and control it with the Lovense application, or give remote control to a partner even if they are not in the same room as you are!

Box, contents and specs

The box contains the usual things every Lovense toy comes with. Besides the toy itself you’ll get the User’s Manual, Quick Setup Guide and a charging cable within it’s own, smaller box. In this case the toy is in a plastic case which also holds the 3 attachment heads. It’s a good idea, because they are small and it would be easy to lose them otherwise. What’s also cool is that the case itself has charging ports on it, so you don’t have to take the toy out of the box to charge it.

How it works

You can select which end you’d like to use by turning the Hyphy on either with the plus button or the minus button. Both turn on the motor closer to them, so the plus button turns on the clit stimulating end while the minus button turns the G-Spot end on. After turning the toy on you can use the buttons to cycle through the built in modes, which are the usual Lovense ones. Three levels of static vibraton and 4 built-in patterns. To get more features you need to connect your Hyphy to your phone via bluetooth and use the Lovense application. With the app you can control the vibration intensity, record or download patterns to play, give remote control to a partner, have your toy vibrate to music, and even set an alarm and wake up to your toy buzzing…. under your pillow?… who knows!
Thy Hyphy is completely waterproof, so cleaning it is a breeze, just use warm water and some mild soap or a silicone friendly sextoy cleaner, dry it and store it in a dry place.

Clit stimulation with the 3 attachments

The little ball shaped attachment is for broad stimulation. Think of this as a mini magic wand, driving intense vibrations directly to the spot you want it. It’s more of a precision instrument compared to the blunt force brute weapon magic wands are.
The U-shaped attachment is also perfect for nipples, it hugs the clit or nipples from two sides driving really intense vibrations that’ll make your toes curl up for sure!
The tongue shaped attachment is good for more accurately fine-tuning the intensity you’d like. By applying a bit more pressure you can dampen the vibrations a bit and get a more gentle stimulation.

G-Spot vibrator features

The G-Spot end is curved nicely and it’s covered in silky smooth silicone. All you need to do is lube up and let it take you away! It’s vibrations are nice, intense, deep and rumbly!

Can guys use the Lovense Hyphy?

Yes! Thanks to the anatomical similarities in where the G-Spot and the P-spot (prostate) are, most G-Spot dildos and vibrators are just as perfect for prostate stimulation. They Hyphy is no exception, it feels really good, and hits the spot very well! The vibrations also feel nice and strong! The clit stimulator end can be used for some careful urethral experimentation WITHOUT THE ATTACHMENTS!, you don’t want anything get stuck in there! Also if you want to experiment with urethral play (urethral sounding) there are some really nice sounding sets designed especially for that, so if that’s your only interest I recommend checking those out instead of the Hyphy. Remember the golden rule of all things sextoys: “Just because you can insert it, it doesn’t mean you should.”

Lovense Hyphy vs. Domi

If you like the Domi or Domi2 magic wands this toy will also be one you’ll enjoy a lot! It’s different in the way it feels and also in the way it gets you off. I tried it with a friend who loves her Domi2 wand and she actually ended up preferring the Hyphy during our playtime. She came just as fast, but she said the orgasm was a bit different. When finishing with the Domi2 she usually doesn’t want to go for a second round, because it would be too intense, with the Hyphy however she came 4 times in 10 minutes before she felt like she’s had enough. Verdict

The Hyphy is a really fun toy! Though it drives much more accurate vibrations compared to a magic wand, it can still be a really good fit even if you’re very sensitive on your clit! I think it’s a nice addition to the Lovense collection of toys, it’s fun, fresh and not ‘just another toy doing the same thing with a slightly different shape’ (I’m looking at you ‘Mission’ :D).

Bonus fun
